Manchester United left their disappointing defeat against West Bromwich in the rear view, and they bounced back with a decent 2-0 win over Bournemouth earlier this week. But The Red Devils will take a small break from the Premier League this weekend, as they will take on Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley in the 2017-18 FA Cup semifinals. It will be United’s second FA Cup semifinal in the last three years. Will they be up to the task against a Spurs side that is also having an excellent season by their standards?

Team News

Just like it happened in our last preview ahead of the Bournemouth game, the team news section in our previews will be extremely short. Jose Mourinho confirmed during the pre-match presser that he has a fully fit squad to choose from. The lone absentee will be Sergio Romero, as the Argentinian goalkeeper is still “a few weeks away” from returning after the injury he sustained with La Albiceleste in the friendly against Spain a few weeks ago.

One thing to note is that there is a chance Mourinho fields a stronger team in this game. Romelu Lukaku, Alexis Sanchez and others should return to the starting XI. Mourinho himself said that the players proved him that they “want to play in the FA Cup semifinals”, but Manchester United are likely to be at full strength.

On the other hand, Tottenham won’t have left-back Danny Rose (calf) and midfielder Harry Winks (ankle) available. Second-choice stopper Michel Vorm has played in goal throughout their cup run, as he did last season, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see Mauricio Pochettino select Hugo Lloris for this one considering the opposition. He already took that route in the 2016-17 campaign, when the Frenchman started in the FA Cup semifinals against Chelsea (2-4 defeat).

Form Guide

Manchester United have been one of the top teams in the FA Cup. The Red Devils have won all of their games in comfortable fashion, and are yet to concede a single goal during their run. They started the tournament with a 2-0 win over Derby County in the third round, and later put four past Yeovil Town in the fourth round. They also defeated Huddersfield Town and Brighton Hove and Albion by 2-0 scores each, giving them 10 goals scored and none conceded in four FA Cup matches.

Meanwhile, Spurs have had a tougher path to the semifinals. They kicked their campaign with a solid third-round win over AFC Wimbledon (3-0), but later needed replays to get past two lower sides such as Newport County (1-1, 2-o) and Rochdale (2-2, 6-1). They trounced Swansea City (3-0) in the semifinals away from home, and sneaked into the top four for the second straight year. Will they manage to get past a United side that also edges them in the Premier League standings (second against Spurs’ fourth place).

United have the edge over Spurs historically, winning 89 of our 188 meetings – the first coming in 1899. There have been 48 draws while Tottenham have won 51 times. The sides last met in the FA Cup in January 2009, with United running out 2-1 winners on the day at Old Trafford.

Prediction

Manchester United have been on top form during the entire FA Cup run, and they shouldn’t have problems to escape with the win against a Tottenham side that has had more problems than expected thus far in the tournament.

Signing Toby Alderweireld Makes So Much Sense For Manchester United

Manchester United have set their sights on adding a central midfielder as the team’s top priority following Michael Carrick’s retirement. However, the team is keen to add at least one defensive reinforcement as well. There is talk of (potentially) several defenders leaving the side sooner than later. The likes of Daley Blind, Matteo Darmian and even Eric Bailly might all leave Old Trafford in the coming months. That would create quite a gap on defence when it comes to both quality and depth.

Put it in another words: Manchester United need to target at least one defender during the upcoming transfer window. And while the team still needs to focus in the FA Cup final match against Chelsea this weekend, it wouldn’t hurt to see what’s out there. At the very least, The Red Devils can analyse whether there are players that could fit in well within Jose Mourinho’s system.

And with that in mind, one alternative they might want to explore is to sign Toby Alderweireld. The Belgium international and Tottenham Hotspur star wants to leave the Spurs this summer, and has reportedly rejected all contract offers to sign an extension. In that regard, United have emerged as a potential destination.

We might not know for sure whether the team is interested or not in signing him. However, the rumour mill is already operating. And several reports over the past few days have indicated that the Old Trafford side wants to acquire the Belgium star. And there is no question that Alderweireld would be an excellent signing for a team that is desperately looking to bolster their defensive depth over the next few months.

Why Manchester United Should Sign Him?

First of all, Alderweireld represents an upgrade over the current in-house options. He is better than Eric Bailly and Phil Jones, and clearly a better option than other potential centre-back choices such as Marcos Rojo, Chris Smalling, and Victor Lindelof. And while saying he is “better” might not be enough to entice fans, he possesses all the traits needed to become the ball-playing centre-back United have been missing since Rio Ferdinand left the side. The 29-year-old will enter his prime years as well, meaning he would (potentially) see out his best years in a United shirt.

Another point in Alderweireld’s favour is the fact that he already knows what is like to play in the Premier League. Heralded as one of the top centre-backs in England, there is a reason why some of the best teams in the world want the Belgian star. Aside from the fact that he can play on both flanks with equal ease, he is a winner at the highest level. He became an integral part for both Spurs and Belgium over the past few years, and he would represent an immediate upgrade for the defensive line.

…But is he worth the risk?

Of course, there are red flags, too. He might demand huge wages, and could potentially disrupt the dressing room’s harmony. After all, his personal interests would be the main reason why he would left the Spurs in the first place. And the team does not need another player like that. But when he is focused on playing, there is no question that he represents a quality alternative to bolster the backline.

We will get a clearer picture once the transfer window opens up in July. And of course, Alderweireld’s performances in the upcoming World Cup would give fans a better idea of what to expect off him. But at least on paper, he represents a decent alternative in case the team wants to bolster the defensive depth. And would become a key contributor for a side that has been lacking a true defensive leader for quite a while now.

Stat Attack: How Do Toby Alderweireld And Harry Maguire Compare Against Each Other?

The saga of Manchester United probably signing a new centre-back is one that has extended throughout the entire transfer window. And while the rumours would probably end once the current window closes next week, we still have enough time to discuss on potential upgrades.

The Red Devils have been linked with several players to re-inforce the centre-back position. That might sound off since United already has five centre-backs on the current squad (Victor Lindelöf, Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling), but the team needs an upgrade. And the two names have been linked of late with the Old Trafford squad are Harry Maguire and Toby Alderweireld. Both are experienced at the Premier League and would definitively make United’s defence better.

But how does these two players compare against each other? Let’s take a look at the stats to find out.

Value

As famous rapper 50 Cent once said, “money makes the world go around as the world turns”. Well, in the case of football players, that’s no different. More often than not, teams turn into the direction of the cheapest player when looking at two similar alternatives. And if we compare Alderweireld and Maguire, then we can there are differences when it comes to the transfer fee and the market value involving both players.

Per Transfermarkt, Maguire (25 years old) is valued at £35 million, but Leicester have already established they will only accept offers in the £60M-£70M range. Meanwhile, Alderweireld (29 years old)’s value is at £40M, but the Spurs want around £55M for him. So while Maguire would is younger, he would also be a bit more expensive due to his upside. On the other hand, Alderweireld is a player firmly on his prime years. And we know Mourinho prefers established players instead of young ones. Just ask Anthony Martial.

Appearances last season

There is a big difference here but it was mostly due to injuries sustained by Alderweireld. The Spurs centre-back registered 14 Premier League appearances, four in the UEFA Champions League, two in the FA Cup and one in the EFL Cup; during that span he couldn’t score, delivered one assist, picked up four yellow cards and tallied 1,471 minutes of action. However, he was injured between November 5, 2017 and April 14, 2018, missing a grand total of 23 games across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Maguire started all 38 Premier League matches for Leicester, and also added three contests in each the EFL Cup and FA Cup. During those 44 appearances, the towering centre-back registered two goals, three assists, nine yellow cards and 4,011 minutes.

Upside

There is no question Maguire wins the battle here. Despite being only 25 years old, the Leicester star centre-back has years left before hitting his prime. We know central defenders tend to peak in the 30-33 year-old range, so United would be getting a defender with world-class upside, but that has several things yet to learn. He did took a major step forward in his development last season, and has already earned 12 caps (with one goal) for England. He is trending on the right direction.

Meanwhile, Alderweireld has won 83 caps (three goals) with the Belgium national team and has also featured a grand total of 108 Premier League appearances throughout his career, plus 128 in the Eredivisie and 27 in each the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. Sure, Alderweireld might have a bit of upside left in him. But he is pretty much what he is right now. He is on the verge of entering his prime years, and as we stated above, Mourinho loves those players. Plus, United need an experienced defender on the squad.

Final Verdict

Maguire seems like the best fit on a long-term basis. He doesn’t have a injury history, is four years younger, and has far more upside.

However, we have to adjust to what Manchester United – and probably Jose Mourinho – want and need. And considering the team’s need for an experienced player who can step up and contribute right away, Alderweireld is the better alternative.

We are already two weeks into the 2018-19 Premier League season, and Manchester United have already enjoyed a fair share of drama.

Following their decent 2-1 win over Leicester City in the opening week, The Red Devils disappointed in their 2-3 defeat against Brighton last week. It remains to be seen which side Manchester United really are, though. Are they the team that did a good job against Leicester? Or are they the team that looked sluggish and out of ideas against The Seagulls? Those questions – and a few more – will have an answer on Monday, when they host Tottenham Hotspur. This game against the Spurs will put an end to the third week of the 2018-19 Premier League campaign. Craig Pawson will take charge of Monday’s game at Old Trafford.

Team News

Jose Mourinho has revealed that there will be several players returning to the side on Monday. Alexis Sanchez, Antonio Valencia and Nemanja Matic have all returned to training, and the manager will decide on Sunday whether they will feature on Monday or not. Ander Herrera was on the bench last week, and could make his first appearance this season. Diogo Dalot has returned to full training, but he is not ready to play yet. Sergio Romero and Marcos Rojo remain out as well.

As for the Spurs, Victor Wanyama (knee) and Juan Foyth (thigh) are still injured. South Korean star forward Heung-min Son is out as well since he is representing his side in the 2018 Asian Games. The rest of the side should be fit and available, though.

Form guide & transfer update

Manchester United’s pre-season featured a mixed bag of results. The Red Devils drew to San Jose Earthquakes and Club America, defeated AC Milan and Real Madrid, and lost to both Liverpool and Bayern Munich for a W2, D2, L2 mark. In terms of transfers, The Red Devils signed Fred, Diogo Valot and Lee Grant, while Andreas Pereira returned from a season-long loan deal at Valencia. Meanwhile, Daley Blind (signed with Ajax) and Michael Carrick (retirement) are not with the team anymore. The club began the year with a solid 2-1 victory against Leicester, but dropped a winnable game against Brighton & Hove Albion last week (2-3 on the road). Will they be able to bounce back?

On the other hand, Tottenham were the ONLY team in the English Premier League that did not sign any player in the transfer market. It remains to be seen whether that was the right move or not, but the results do not lie. The Spurs enjoyed a solid 2-1 win over Newcastle in the season opener, and topped newly-promoted Fulham last week (3-1) thanks to goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Kieran Trippier. Their pre-season tour saw them play four times and got mixed results. They defeated AS Roma and AC Milan, drew against FC Barcelona and lost to Girona. The fact that they have not been able to keep a clean sheet should be concerning, though. Can United take advantage of that?

What happened the last time these two sides met in this venue?

The Spurs secured a 2-0 win over The Red Devils when these two sides met in this venue last season. It was a thrilling game that was decided with goals from Christian Eriksen and Phil Jones (own goal).

Manchester United and Brighton played three times last season. There were two wins for The Red Devils, and one for the Spurs.

Prediction

We have to take into account that Manchester United still have several players out due to injury, while the Spurs have looked on top form to start the season. Having the home-field advantage could be a plus, no doubt about it. But Tottenham are a team that can go toe-to-toe with any team in the Premier League. As such, I believe this game will end with a draw.

Manchester United are soaring high thanks to a four-game winning streak at the Premier League, but The Red Devils want to extend their good run of fortune. Things will be a bit complicated, though, as they will take on a strong Tottenham side that ranks third in the Premier League standings while winning 15 of their last 18 matches. Mike Dean will be the referee for this game, and it will kick-off at 16:30 GMT.

Team News

Manchester United won’t have Eric Bailly (suspension) and Marcos Rojo (injury); in fact, the Argentinian defender travelled to his native country so he can enter a rehab program closer to his family. Paul Pogba (knock) and Chris Smalling (foot) both returned to training, but only the former will probably start on Sunday. Plus, Fred has a leave of absence so he could be with his wife in the birth of their child. Alexis Sanchez is out after suffering yet another injury during the side’s 2-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup this past weekend.

On the other hand, Tottenham won’t have Victor Wanyama (knee) and Eric Dier (apendicitis) despite the fact both players are recovering from their respective injuries. Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele were listed as questionable due to thigh and ankle injuries, respectively. However, both players already returned to training so their inclusion might be a game-time decision. Speaking of that, winger Lucas Moura – who scored twice against Manchester United in the club’s most recent Premier League meeting – will be analysed closer to kick-off due to a knee injury sustained against Tramnere in the FA Cup.

Form guide

Manchester United are playing at a very high level right now. After all, they are currently riding a four-game winning streak at the Premier League. Plus, they also conquered a solid 2-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup. The Red Devils now have kept two consecutive clean sheets for only the second time during the current term. Can they extend that solid defensive form against Tottenham, one of the top attacking units in the Premier League this season? For what is worth, Solskjaer’s men sit in sixth place of the standings with 38 points. A win could match them with Arsenal, who sit fifth with 41 points.

Meanwhile, Tottenham have been one of the hottest teams in the Premier League season. Leaving aside their impressive 7-0 win over Tramnere – a lower-league side – during the FA Cup, we can see the Spurs have won four of their previous five league matches. They also sit in third place of the EPL standings with 48 points after 21 matches (W16, L5). Surprisingly, they are the only team in the Premier League that is yet to draw a game during the current term. If we add all competitions into the mix, we can see the Spurs have won 15 of their last 18 matches. Ergo, they should enter this game with their confidence quite high.

What is our recent record against Tottenham Hotspur?

If we look at Manchester United’s record against Tottenham, we can see the Spurs won the most recent league meeting (3-0 at Old Trafford earlier this season) but United won the previous match at Wembley, during last year’s FA Cup semifinal. Considering the most recent matches between both sides, the edge goes to the Spurs; they have won three of the last four league H2H meetings (W3, L1). But if we add all competitions into the mix, then The Red Devils get the edge (W5, D1, L4).

Prediction

Manchester United have not lost since the interim appointment of Solskjaer. But Tottenham will be the Norwegian’s first real test, and it will be on the road as well. All things considered, I believe this one will end in a draw.

Pre Season Tour Preview: Manchester United vs Tottenham

Embed from Getty Images

Manchester United will play their fourth game of the 2019 Pre Season Tour and will aim to continue their undefeated run before the start of the 2019/20 season.

The Red Devils have already defeated Perth Glory, Leeds United and Inter Milan in their first three games. Now they will take on a Premier League opponent, since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men will face Tottenham Hotspur this Thursday in Shanghai, China.

What are the team news prior to the match?

As it has been the trend over the Pre Season Tour, Solskjaer will probably try to give minutes to several players to give them some much-needed match fitness. However, both Romelu Lukaku and Tahith Chong trained away from the group, meaning they could miss this clash on the world’s most populous country. Lee Grant joined the training session alongside the rest of the goalkeepers, so the veteran could see action as well if needed.

Victor Lindelof also took part in the training session. Let’s remember the Swedish centre-back left the previous friendly with a knock.

Considering both Chong and Lukaku might miss this clash, Mason Greenwood could very well get even more minutes in this tour. The 17-year-old striker is United’s joint top-scorer so far in the Tour with two goals in three matches.

What about the opponents?

Tottenham Hotspur are not reporting any absences ahead of this match. They have already left their mark in the transfer market since they acquired Lyon star midfielder Tanguy Ndombele to bolster their depth in the middle of the pitch. One of their top results during the current Pre Season Tour was their 3-2 win over Juventus thanks to a winning strike from Harry Kane on stoppage time.

What’s Manchester United’s record in Pre Season so far?

The Red Devils have been perfect in Pre Season thus far. They kicked things off with a 2-0 win over Perth Glory, and then registered back-to-back wins over Leeds United (4-0) and Inter Milan (1-0). Most notably, they’re yet to concede a goal and the new players – such as Aaron Wan-Bissaka – have looked impressive.

Now it’s time for Solskjaer’s men to deliver another impressive performance. This time, against an opponent they will meet at least twice during the 2019-20 season.

Manchester United can’t seem to leave their struggles behind and they are coming off another draw. This past Sunday, they had to settle for a 2-2 home draw against Aston Villa despite being up by one goal midway into the second half. Knowing they must win at all costs here, The Red Devils will take on a Top 6 opponent when Tottenham come to Old Trafford. This game will mark Jose Mourinho’s return to Old Trafford after he was fired by the club in December last year. Kick-off for this match has been scheduled for 19:30 GMT.

Team News

United will not feature Paul Pogba (ankle), Marcos Rojo (muscle injury), Diogo Dalot (groin), Eric Bailly (knee) and Timothy Fosu-Mensah (knee), as all these players have already been ruled out by the coaching staff. Furthermore, two central midfielders are doubtful since both Nemanja Matic (groin) and Scott McTominay (ankle) will be game-time decisions. That said, the Scottish international has a good chance of returning to action. He couldn’t feature against Villa, but should be able to return here.

Meanwhile, the Spurs won’t have four players due to several injuries. The losses of French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris (elbow) and the Argentine playmaker Erik Lamela (thigh) stand out, but Ben Davies (ankle) and backup goalkeeper Michael Vorm (calf) are also ruled out for this clash, meaning Paulo Gazzaniga will remain between the posts for the Spurs.

Form guide

Manchester United could jump to fifth place in the standings if they secure the three points in this match. However, they would also require other results to happen to accomplish that feat. Even in the best scenario, The Red Devils have been quite inconsistent. Their home form is showing promise, however, as they have lost just once in seven matches at Old Trafford thus far. But a run of three draws in their last four shouldn’t exactly inspire confidence in the home fans.

Meanwhile, the Spurs have struggled badly on the road and register just one win in seven matches, while also losing thrice during that span. They might be on the rise, though, with two straight games without defeat away from home. For what is worth, Mourinho has started his Tottenham tenure strongly with three wins in equal number of matches. The Spurs are coming off a 3-2 win over Bournemouth in their previous Premier League match.

What is our recent record against Tottenham?

Manchester United and Tottenham own a balanced record in competitive matches over the past few years. During the last 10 meetings between these two sides, The Red Devils have six wins against Tottenham’s four. If we analyse solely the last five Premier League matches, however, then the Spurs have a W3, L2 edge. But over the last 10 EPL outings, Manchester United lead once again with a W5, D1, L4 mark.

The most recent meeting between these two sides happened in January 13th, 2019. Manchester United won that match 1-0 thanks to a goal from Marcus Rashford.

Predicted outcome

Both teams have strong squads so it’s unlikely to see either side edging the other on a name-to-name basis. It will be a tight match given both sides’ strengths and weaknesses. Considering the recent results from both sides the Spurs might have an edge, but The Red Devils have been playing their best football at home. Expect this one to end in a draw.

Manchester United will meet against Jose Mourinho and Tottenham Hotspur. And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has decided which players will start Wednesday’s match at Old Trafford.

The biggest news is the return of Scott McTominay, who comes back to the starting XI after missing games due to injury. He will partner Fred in the centre of the pitch. The tactical scheme will be a 4-2-3-1, with Mason Greenwood upfront. Daniel James and Marcus Rashford will operate on the wings, while Jesse Lingard will be on the n° 10 hole.

Manchester United will play their first competitive match in more than three months Friday, as they will take on Tottenham Hotspur behind closed doors in the English Premier League. This will be the first match for both clubs following the league’s suspension after the Coronavirus pandemic hit football all over the world. This match will kick-off Friday at 20:15 GMT.

Team News

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can breathe because he will have a fully fit squad to choose from ahead of this match. Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba were both injured when the league got suspended. However, both are healthy and expected to see minutes. The lone potential injury absentee would be Phil Jones, as he is dealing with a knock. The former Blackburn Rovers star will be a game-time decision for the coaching staff.

Meanwhile, Tottenham will be without Dele Alli, as the star playmaker is suspended for this contest. Troy Parrott has been ruled out through illness and Japhet Tanganga is out due to back problems. The biggest news, however, is the return of star striker Harry Kane. The England international should have missed the remainder of the 2019-20 season, but he recovered during the lockdown. He is now healthy and ready to lead the Spurs once again.

Form guide

The Red Devils enter this game on the heels of an 11-game undefeated streak in all competitions. They defeated Manchester City (2-0) in their most recent Premier League match. Plus, they also registered a thumping 5-0 win at LASK Linz the last time they saw competitive action. The Red Devils currently sit fifth in the standings with 45 points and are three behind Chelsea, who currently sit in fourth place.

Tottenham, on the other hand, enter this match on a three-game winless run in the Premier League (D1, L2). It’s safe to say their season has not gone as expected. The Spurs were likely to contend for a 2020-21 UEFA Champions League berth but, instead, they are sitting in eighth place of the standings and are seven points behind Chelsea. They have gone W3, L2 in their last two at home, though, so at least they offer promise of making things competitive here.

What is our recent record against Tottenham Hotspur?

Manchester United have enjoyed playing against Tottenham in recent matches, as they own a W7, L4 mark in the previous 11 Premier League H2H matches. The Red Devils also secured a win the last time these two clubs met. It ended 2-1 in December last year. Rashford netted a brace for Manchester United, while Alli scored the Spurs’ lone goal.

Predicted outcome

Manchester United are favourites according to most bookmakers, most notably due to the hot streak they were carrying before the season got suspended. Having said that, Tottenham won’t be an easy opponent and could pose a threat if Kane is completely healthy. The Red Devils have gained confidence as the season progressed, however, and they couldn’t have asked for a tougher test to re-start the campaign. This one could easily end in a draw due to the strength of both sides, but don’t be surprised if Manchester United end up securing the three points solely based on their recent form.

Manchester United’s April 2021 Fixtures and Expectations

Manchester United head into the penultimate month of the 2020-21 season with the opportunity to get closer to sealing a top-four finish and reach the final four of the UEFA Europa League.

We headed into the international break off the back of a disappointing FA Cup exit at the hands of Leicester City at the quarter-final stage prior to this crucial month for us.

A top-four finish is in our own hands as we have an eight-point lead over West Ham United in fifth, but still with a few tricky fixtures remaining. Here is a look at what we have coming up:

Brighton & Hove Albion (home)

We return from the international break to host struggling Brighton & Hove Albion in a match we are rightfully clear favourites. Anyone who is considering backing us should think about the bet365 bonus code uk to increase their potential returns. Though the Seagulls did win their two games directly before the break – away to Southampton and at home to Newcastle United.

Prior to that they had lost three in a row, including against West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace. We were dramatic late 3-2 winners at the AMEX Stadium back in September.

Granada (away)

The first leg of our Europa League quarter-final takes place four days later as we’re in Spain to face Granada. Currently sitting in the top half of the La Liga table, they have a great record at home this season but not so much on the road.

Granada were 2-0 winners at home to Napoli and Molde in the first legs of their previous two knockout rounds before losing the second legs 1-2. It will be important for us not to fall to a similar first-leg scoreline.

Tottenham Hotspur (away)

We return from Spain to head to North London and face Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur. They will have had the full week to rest and prepare for our visit as they have already been eliminated from Europe this season.

Harry Kane and Gareth Bale have been in fine form of late, but Son Heung-min is sidelined through injury. It will be interesting to read the Spurs news closer to the time of this match, particularly with their list of injuries.

Granada (home)

The second leg of our Europa League quarter-final takes place four days after travelling to the English capital.

Burnley (home)

Despite only three days between our Europa League tie and the next Premier League game, three points should be on the cards when we host Burnley later in April.

Although the Clarets haven’t lost too many of late their form could have turned by then as they’re likely to have all but secured their Premier League status.

Leeds United (away)

Our only full week off in April comes between hosting Burnley and then travelling to Leeds. Marcelo Bielsa’s side haven’t been too consistent his season but did pick up four points in their final two games before the international break – a goalless draw at home to Chelsea and a 2-1 win at Fulham.

We were in the middle of an excellent run in December when we hammered Leeds United 6-2. Scott McTominay scored twice in the opening three minutes whilst Bruno Fernandes scored a brace himself and Daniel James helped himself to a rare goal.

Europa League semi-final?

Should we be successful versus Granada earlier in the month then the first leg of our Europa League semi-final tie at home to either Ajax or AS Roma will be our final fixture in April.
